Got my car inspected and didn't care that I needed to leave it an extra day until I could pick it up.

Recently had some problems with a front wheel making metal on metal noises. Brought it to Jay who scheduled us in for the next day. Turns out brakes where needed on the front, handled things very smoothly and had a fair price for the service, would recommend Mendenhalls for these types of problem. We have used them in the past for alternators and a gas leak and each have been handled smoothly.

We take driver safely very seriously, Doug, which is why we do our best to accommodate drivers as soon as possible. We're glad we were able to find the problem and fix it before it got any worse, especially since it was an issue with your brakes. It's good you left our shop feeling confident in our work and the fair price for repairs. Thank you for bringing your car to us, and trusting us to get you back safely on the road. I have had a couple vehicles inspected here after bad experiences elsewhere that failed my vehicles for items not listed on the Maryland inspection criteria. First off their busy so schedule appointment in advance then I noticed the rate is less than others I used in Elkton. the Maryland Safety inspection is designed to help insure that the vehicle is safe to drive on the highway and is posted in the store at Mendenhall's I'm a do it myself mechanic and I have been impressed that the repairs my trucks have failed are items that I overlooked and have all been necessary for my safety and also are listed on Maryland criteria Jay takes the time to explain his sheet and the necessary repairs I have had at least 20 vehicles inspected in my lifetime and after using Mendenhall I will not go anywhere else you will find honest inspection at a great price and they are so busy they aren't going to fail items to get work and I have found that to be rare in the Elkton area but keep in mind failed items are not the inspectors fault when they follow the codes to insure that your vehicle is safe to drive

We want each driver who comes into our shop to be rest assured that they will be safely back on the road in a timely manner and with a completely safe vehicle to drive.
